Quality plantings

I endeavour to creating ecologically and visually successful plant combinations, that catch the eye through their various shapes, colours and habits. At the heart of my work lies an extensive plant knowledge. This allows me to make an informed decision on which plants will best suit your garden. For example, while Geranium 'Johnson's Blue' and Geranium 'Brookside' have a similar colour, they flower at different times in the year. I will take this into account in my design.

What do I offer?

Designing

We start with an initial appointment to see your garden and discuss requirements. I will then send you a summary of our meeting that will enable me to create a quote for the design process and/or work.

Most projects will include a site survey and a concept sketch of the garden.

During home visits, I will present you my ideas, supported by a choice of visual resources. We will take the time together to improve and amend the design, after which it can be implemented.

A planting plan will include a detailed layout & plant list.

I cater mainly for private properties but will equally accept work from commercial settings.

Consultancy/Walk & Talk

This service is ideal if you're just after some advice on what to do in the garden, what and how to prune, or which plants to use. It usually takes the form of a Walk & Talk, and proves very useful when you have bought a new property, or before heading out to the garden centre.
